With this sculpture in the shape of a violin, I would wish to remember the victims of Covid-19 and to usher in a post-pandemic renaissance in Venice
Created in collaboration with the Consorzio Venezia Sviluppo and CNA National Confederation of Artisans, Provincial Venezia, and measuring12,5 meters in length, we have used steel and a variety of wood-types, including oak, mahogany, fir, larch, linden and cherry. The team, working by hand, took over a year year to complete the sculpted vessel.
I would personally like to express my deep appreciation to all of you, who collaborated with me so that the dream of this momentous event of launching “Noah’s Violin” was able to come true.
